instructions from Carl Henderson

from my memory of the audio, the instructions were:

1     Healing works best when unbelievers are present,,,,,,,,because the purpose of the Physical Healing is to convince unbelievers of the Gospel Truth,

the God who can heal is the God who is real

2    ask the person "where does it hurt? What can you NOT do? Show me what you can't do?"
After commanding the healing,,,,,,,,ask the person "Are you healed?"............(never pronounce the person healed,,,,,,,,,let them say that they are healed)

3     lay hands on the affected part of his body.
If the person can't speak,,,,,,hold his tongue in your fingers.
If the person is a woman,,,,,,,ask women in the church to lay hands on her.

4     Command the healing, such as:
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command your kidney to be healed!
In the Name of Jesus, I command you to be healed!
In the Name of Jesus, I heal your heart disease!
In the Name of Jesus, I rebuke your spine injury! Be healed!

Be as specific as you can. Name the exact part of the body that is to be healed. Name the exact sickness or injury.

5    If the healing doesn't happen,,,,,,,,make sure that you are fully confessed of all sin,,,,,,and repent of all sin.

If the sick is a Christian,,,,,,,,make sure that he is fully confessed and repentant.

6    If the person is not healed,,,,,,,don't say that he is healed.
Tell the Truth.

7      Always give God the Glory and Thanks for the healing.
Tell all that "This healing was done to prove the Truth of the Gospel. The healing is for saving sinners from their sins. The physical healing is always secondary to getting sinners saved from sin."

My Thots: Physical Healing is a shadow (symbolic of) SPIRITUAL HEALING (getting born-again,,,,,,forgiven,,,,becoming a Christian).
